New vs retrofit
Automating a gate at the time it’s fabricated means the frame, hinge posts or track are built to suit the motor’s mounting points and safety clearances from the start. Retrofitting automation to an existing gate is possible in most cases, but the gate and posts need to be assessed on-site first to confirm they can safely carry the motor and daily cycling. We assess the gate (or planned gate) — weight, frame condition, posts and available power.
We fit the motor, control system and safety features appropriate to the gate.
We test the installation and hand over, including your remote or access setup.
